A bench of High Court Chief Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Bhargava Karia has given suggestions to the state government to take a decision on the curfew and weekend curfew for 3 to 4 days, on which the Chief Minister can take a decision after the late evening meeting.
The coronavirus pandemic has been steadily increasing in Gujarat. More than 3 thousand new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the state for the first time after the data arrived yesterday.
According to the latest data released on Monday evening by the Gujarat Health Department, 3160 new cases have been registered. The total number of infections has increased to 3,21,598, while 15 people died.

In the last 24 hours, 787 cases and 6 people have died in Ahmedabad while 7 people have been recorded in Surat with 788 cases. 311 new cases have been reported in Rajkot and 330 in Vadodara. In the last nine days in the Civil Hospital, a total of 899 patients were admitted to the hospital due to coronavirus infection.
